Our story
Sell That Cell started in early 2020 after years of buying, repairing, and refurbishing devices locally in the Dallas area. After multiple unsafe meetup experiences, including attempted robberies and violent incidents, it became clear there had to be a safer way for people to sell used devices. What started as a side gig steadily grew into Sell That Cell — a safer way for people to sell phones, tablets, smartwatches, and AirPods online without dealing with marketplace listings, risky meetups, no-shows, or lowball offers.
Today, Sell That Cell helps customers across the country quickly see what their devices are worth, ship them for free, and get paid using their preferred payment method. With thousands of devices purchased, our goal is to make selling used and broken electronics feel simple, safe, and transparent from start to finish.
